Marching into Spring

Winter is turning into Spring and we’re looking forward to Summer ahead! From testing our crepes (yummm, cheese & egg, strawberry & banana, nutella & peanut butter!) to amazing muffins by Patrick to looking towards the future of flour milling and grain processing here at the Granary, to our Summer 2013 Community Barn Dances to amazing horse clinics with Buck Brannaman then Todd Bergen and Todd Crawford at the Fairgrounds, we are EXCITED about what’s in store for the Summer 2013. There’s so much happening it’s hard to share it in an email, yet here goes…!
Granary Reborn

Granary Reborn by Chula Beauregard

A grateful THANK YOU to the anonymous donor of the “Granary Reborn”, an oil painting by artist Chula Beauregard. Whoever you are, please know this is a thrill for us and what a tribute to the building! We are so excited for the future of this incredible space and look forward to the changes ahead.

The Granary effort continues to be a shared venture – from those assisting with their old commercial ovens and coffee grinders to transforming the space into one that our community can celebrate. If you haven’t been by recently, we invite you to come in for a cup of great locally roasted, organic, fair-trade coffee; homemade chai; wonderful brownies or delicious muffins. We continue to perfect our crepe skills and will be adding them to our menu soon… in the meantime we are grateful for the sharing of wisdom, ideas and resources.

Baked Goods and Crepes
So grateful for the early morning efforts of Patrick to bake incredible fresh muffins, cinnamon rolls and more. What we love about being small is the ability to handcraft everything we do, from homemade chai to rolls to our crepes.

We’ll soon be experimenting with freshly milled grains as well, which elevates the handcrafted aspect of what we do to a whole new level. We are SO GRATEFUL for the amazing support of our customers and truly appreciate your support, wisdom and participation in this effort. From our “Gaggle of Geese” memberships (Save $5 with purchasing $50 of coffee!) to our Community Supported Coffeehouse memberships, Wild Goose Coffee is truly about you, our friends, family and amazing supporters.

THANK YOU for being a part of this flight!

Bring in this email (or show it on your phone or remember “SILLY GOOSE”) and we’ll give you a FREE Small Drip Coffee OR $1 off any of our specialty coffees or teas! (One per person please, valid through 3/22/13)

Barn Dance and Art Posita!

Join us for our next barn dance, Saturday, September 29th from 6:30-11pm at the Hayden Granary.

We’re excited to be joined on the 29th by three “Artists in Residence” with Colorado Art Ranch that will showcase their work over the past month while in Hayden, PLUS we’ll have dancing (as always) with a LIVE BAND – Sundog – one of my favorites.  This will be our third year of hosting Colorado Art Ranch’s Art Posita at the Granary and it’s proved to be a wonderful showcase of art and heritage in the Hayden valley.  Music from Sundog is icing on the cake.

SATURDAY, SEPT 29th from 6:30-11pm at the Hayden Granary
6:30—Art Posita with Colorado Art Ranch artists in residence
7:30—Basic Dance Instruction
8:00-11—Country Western Dance
